Respiratory Care services at Holy Family Hospital
encompass activities in diagnostic evaluation,
therapy, and education of the patient, family
and public. The department is responsible for
providing safe and effective care upon a
physician prescription or order. Services are
provided to both inpatients and outpatients.
Respiratory Care rehabilitation is an individually
tailored exercise and educational program for
individuals with lung-related diseases such as
asthma, bronchitis, emphysema or chronic
obstructive pulmonary disease. The program is
designed to help you return to daily activities,
improve quality of life, learn to manage
symptoms and increase stamina in completing
everyday tasks.
- Pulmonary Function Test (PFT)
- With or without Pre and Post Bronchodilator
- Pulse Oximetry
- End Tidal CO2 Monitoring
