In 2003, operation of the Holy Family School of Radiologic Technology was transferred to Spokane's Sacred Heart Medical Center. Both Holy Family Hospital and Sacred Heart Medical Center are part of Providence Health Care.
The program continues its hospital-based instruction and clinical training held within the Radiology Department at Sacred Heart Medical Center. Upon completion of this program, graduates are eligible to write the National Registry Board Examination. Passing the exam allows the graduate to use the title "Registered Technologist" and its abbreviations "R.T." after his/her name. These are the official credentials recognized by the American Medical Association (AMA).
