Hospitals throughout Washington state are facing serious budget challenges. Declining reimbursements for hospital
services is a key reason for the industry's current financial difficulty, but the rising costs of labor, pharmaceuticals,
technology and supplies are also taking a toll. At the same time, it's becoming more difficult for underserved patient
populations to access health-care services.
Through our legislative-advocacy efforts, Holy Family is working to obtain fair reimbursements for health-care providers
and greater access to health-care services. You can support the health-care cause by educating yourself about current
issues facing the industry and asking your state and national legislators to put more money back into health care.
